*The online training course is self-paced. It is expected that the course takes the average person about 4 hours to complete. Your actual time commitment may vary depending on your reading and comprehension speed and how quickly you complete the exercises and quizzes. You do not need to complete the course all at one time. You may come & go from the course, but the entire course must be completed within 30 days from date of purchase. (An extension/access reset beyond 30 days will require an additional fee.)

**The DOT regulations require two (2) training components before an STT is qualified to perform DOT alcohol screening tests. No online or self-study course can meet both components, since the DOT rules require that component #2 (device proficiency training) be completed in a way that allows for real-time interaction between the student and a qualified trainer. (This may be accomplished by either live, real-time web cam training or face-to-face training.)

THE COST OF THIS COURSE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE PROFICIENCY DEMONSTRATION OR DEVICE TRAINING.  Webcam training is offered for an additional fee on select screening devices, but ultimately it is up to the STT student to find/provide his or her own Trainer for the device proficiency training and pay any associated fees.

Device training fees: For most saliva devices, the fee is $239.00 per person for device proficiency webcam training and the fee for proficiency training on most breath ASDs is $279.00 per person. Additional charges apply for Train-The-Trainer/Instructor students.
