Reasonable Suspicion Training for DOT-covered supervisors
This two-hour online training course is designed to meet the operating agency requirements under the Department of Transportation (DOT) , including the FMCSA, FTA, FRA, PHMSA, and FAA.
Supervisors are provided an overview of each of the DOT agency rules regarding making reasonable suspicion testing determinations, testing requirements, documentation, confidentiality, and referrals.
This course prepares the supervisor to recognize the signs and symptoms of alcohol use, drugs and prohibited substance use in the workplace.
Reasonable Suspicion Training for supervisors
(non-DOT)
This 1.5 hour online training course is designed to assist supervisors in recognizing the signs and symptoms of alcohol use, drugs and prohibited substance use in the workplace.
This course is appropriate for all industries and workplaces, but will not meet the requirements for Department of Transportation (DOT) training.
Supervisors are provided training on making reasonable suspicion testing determinations, testing best practices, documenting reasonable suspicion situations, confidentiality, and making referrals.
Drug-Free Workplace Training
Drug-Free Workplace Training Course for Employees
This course introduces employees to the importance of a drug-free workplace. This course is geared towards employees, and gives the employee an understanding of what a company's drug-free workplace policy typically includes, such as: the purpose and goal of a drug-free workplace policy, who is covered, when and where the policy applies, types of behavior prohibited, types of testing (such as drug and alcohol testing), and consequences for violating the policy.

Supervisors, managers, and leaders are introduced to the benefits of a drug-free workplace, the importance of a drug free workplace policy, the leader's responsibilities in a drug-free workplace, the impact and cost of substance abuse in the workplace, addiction, help and assistance for employees with substance abuse concerns, resources, and a summary of the signs & symptoms of substance abuse.

(Railroad)
As required by FRA Rules, this course details both the qualifying criteria for post-accident testing and the role of the supervisor in post-accident collections.
This course provides detailed training on the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) rules found in 49 CFR Part 219 (with the main focus on Subpart C -- Post-Accident Toxicological Testing, and Appendix C). This course will help FRA-covered supervisors meet the training requirement for post-accident determinations as specified in 219.11(g).
This is an FRA-approved Model Course.
FMCSA Post-accident Determination Training
and Other Testing Reasons Course
This online training course will help FMCSA-covered supervisors determine when they need to test employees and for what reasons, and how to do so compliantly under the Federal Transportation Regulations. This course is intended for those in the trucking and transportation industries, including school bus company leaders/supervisors.
You will learn what accidents require post-accident drug and alcohol testing under the Federal Rules, and what situations do NOT require post-accident drug or alcohol testing, as well as what types of tests are allowed.
Self-paced, approximately 1.25* hours.
FTA Post-accident Determination Training
and Other Testing Reasons Course
Intended for leaders/supervisors involved in local public transit systems, including buses, subways, light rail, commuter rail, trolleys and ferries, this online course will help FTA-covered supervisors determine when they need to test employees and for what reasons, and how to do so compliantly under the Federal Transit Administration Regulations.
Students will learn what accidents require post-accident drug and alcohol testing under the FTA's rules (49 CFR Part 655), and what situations do NOT require post-accident drug or alcohol testing, as well as what types of tests are allowed.

This online combo-course provides training on the specific, contemporaneous, physical, behavioral, and performance indicators of probable drug use; training on the specific, contemporaneous, physical, behavioral, and performance indicators of probable alcohol use; and training on how to determine if a railroad accident qualifies for post-accident testing.
BREATH ALCOHOL TECHNICIAN (BAT) TRAINING
Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) Training
We offer online BAT Procedures training (federally-required Component 1), as well as Device Proficiency Training ((federally-required Component 2).
Federal regulations require that the BAT student complete their full two-component training within a 30-day period (or less). Be sure to start and finish both components of your BAT training within this 30-day window. Breath alcohol technicians must repeat their full training every 5-years.
Online BAT Procedures Course
This online training course will prepare the Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) to conduct Department of Transportation (DOT) alcohol tests on safety-sensitive employees as required by 49 CFR Part 40. As required, this online training course follows the DOT Model Course for BAT qualification training. This extremely detailed course exceeds the industry standard and Federal training requirements.
